Central – Nashville donates $20,000 to the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center

The Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center is helping to lead the charge in research and prevention of breast cancer – and Central Woodwork – Nashville is proud to help them keep making progress through ongoing donations derived from the sales of our locally-made millwork products!

Thank you to the staff of the VICC for all the work that you do! If you would like to learn more about the VICC, you can visit their website at www.vicc.org.

John Hanna (CW Memphis) and his wife Christi at the Steak n’ Burger fundraiser

The Schaefer Family/Central Woodwork has been actively volunteering and supporting the Memphis Boys & Girls Club for over 60 years. Mr. Billy Schaefer and Pat Shaefer served as board members for years, and John Hanna is currently serving as Board Member for the Bernal E. Smith Club.

The Greater Memphis area Clubs provide a safe haven for children, healthy snacks/meals, and allow the kids to have a secure spot to help promote learning and provide guidance.  The positive impact locally is measurable – kids that stay through their senior year of high school have a 100% graduation rate, and as adults, help make the community stronger.
